So, I think I have succeeded in changing some of my habits (mostly) for the better, although I still struggle with scheduling. In the past month, I have gone nigh-vegetarian (we had sloppy joes tonight with beef-flavored Textured Vegetable Protein tonight, quite tasty), most days I walk 4 - 6 miles, I have cut out regular soda and I am starting to get rid of the diet soda, I feel better and I am sleeping better.
All good things.
I still need to figure out the whole business travel thing a it pertains to exercise though. That is kind of a tough one. I'll get it sussed out one of these days though. In fact, I have a lot of noodling to do on business travel in general. I am reworking my packing lists and minimalist travel planning as well. So, this is an area that I will be paying attention to a bit.
Now that I am working on changing habits for the better, I am also trying to do so in other areas such as work prioritization, "stuff reduction" around the house, or in the office, etc. It is quite liberating, actually, and I am starting to like the concept of remaking myself. I think I have been in a rut, which is never good for your mental state.
Wish me luck.
